Animals of Africa Animals of Africa is educational software in the Virtual Zoofari? line from Horst Graphics, comprised of a selection of interactive encyclopedia-style pages that cover five groups of African animals: Birds, Big Cats, Hoofed Mammals, Large Mammals, and Primates. In each animal group there are between three to six specific animals covered, showing information about the animal's range and habitat, description, behavior, breeding, diet, and conservation of the species. Each animal page also contains a short video showing the animal in motion; the player can also hear the sounds they make and listen to the page read aloud.

The player can explore the section on habitats, which gives a brief overview of the types of land areas found in Africa. The Cool Links section provides links to related websites, 13 of which are still extant in 2007.
