My Sim Aquarium As the title suggests, My Sim Aquarium is a simulation which lets you design your dream saltwater aquarium, stock it with exotic fish and, optionally, save it to become your computer's screen saver.

Before you can actually get fish, your custom tank needs to be set up. Select from 20 different themed backgrounds and choose what you want inside it - plants, flowers, rocks and miniature buildings. You can add mollusks and anemones at this point too. Then it's off to the store to pick out which fish should live in your aquarium.

The fun begins when you get your new fish home and inside your tank. Feed and care for them like you would "real" fish, all the while listening to classical music in the background or authentic sounding water sounds (ocean waves, trickling streams, for instance). Consulting the in-game encyclopedia helps to learn about the different species and how to care for them. Keeping them healthy is important and you'll find that cleaning the tank is effortless (a simple mouse click). When all of your new friends are settled in their new home, you have the option of going back to the store to get more fish. You can even trade in fish that you have bred in your tank.

There are two modes of play: Expert and Lazy. Use the Expert mode for breeding and growing your fish and handling the daily feeding and overall care yourself. Once you're happy with everything, go into Lazy mode and the computer will take over for you. Only in Lazy mode can you elect to make it your screen saver. [source:mobygames]
