Prose and Motion Certainly one can be moved by noble words, but this is not a game of literature or oration. The "prose" in the game's title is in reference to each level's goal -- of spelling out a word using all the bold capital letters provided on a given level's screen. (And not just any word -- levels can be completed with any word possible given the letter combinations, but each level has a best fit it finds most appropriate.) There is some flexibility, as some letters can be interpreted as other, more useful letters when moved on their side or upside-down (Ns become Zs, Es change to Ms or Ws, etc.)

Where the "motion" comes in is in making this all happen: the player isn't just typing letters into a keyboard but laboriously clicking and dragging pendulous letters through a landscape, bumping and jostling their neighbors. And though the game is one based around assembling words, its mechanism is through a 2D physics simulation. Beyond the first few "correct the spelling here" tutorial levels, players will also have to click and drag (and endlessly correct to account for gravity, slope and inertia) other blocks and line segments to flip, boost, prop, hoist or shore up the letters in order to reach the target zone in which they must be anagrammatically arranged into their intended word.

There are multiple solutions to each level, with a straightforward word and an intended word. The latter is hinted at through a vague text description in the background. [source:mobygames]
