Lightspeed Lightspeed is a puzzle game, where you have a laser and an absorber. The basic idea is to rotate the laser so, that the laser beam hits the absorber.

Depending on the scenario, you have one or more lasers, either white or colored. Each laser must be rotated, so that all absorber are in use (with the correct color; a red absorber can only absorb red light). But on some scenarios, the laser is fixed, so you can only use the support items to help you.

The support items are: Reflector (you can use them to move the beam around corners, etc. ), Semitransparent Reflector (same as reflector, but the beam also get through), Color Filter (only the beam with the color identical to the filter can pass), Semitransparent Reflector with Color Filter, Multiplier (emits multiple beams of the same color), Prism (breaks the beam into it's basic colors), Generator of the white (counterpart of the Prism, when hit by the basic color beams, a white beam emits), Shifter (will either cool down or warm up colored beams), and Transformer (will change the color of the initial beam into the one currently used by the Transformer).

The game itself offers 52 scenarios, 3 difficulty settings, and a level editor. [source:mobygames]
