Strategic Command: WWII Pacific Theater is the third game in the Strategic Command series. Like its predecessors the game is a turn-based strategy game that is set in World War II. This time around the focus lies on the pacific theater and Asia. Each turn the player can move his troops, issue attack orders and train new units.

Asian territories include India, Tibet, Nepal and China. Included for play are 5 major and 23 minor nations. 20 unique unit types are available which are composed out of over 30 different characteristics and stats. 8 mini campaigns can be played depicting historical missions such as Midway, the struggle in the Philippines, the defense of India, the liberation of Burma and assaults on Okinawa, Iwo Jima and Pelelui and the New Guinea campaign.

Additionally a full mega campaign is available which spans six years in which the player can try whatever he wants to gain victory. The game features various new terrain types over its predecessors as well as changes in naval support and an improved AI.
