Inspired by the Fabled Lands gamebook series and the Tunnels & Trolls solitaire adventures, this automated fantasy gamebook pits players against the fantastic threats and fabulous challenges to be found in the general vicinity of the great hub city of Karrakara, from which inland and nautical adventures can be accessed and investigated.

The computer handles all randomization, die rolls to settle skill challenges (numerous -- challenges and skills both, a dozen of the latter!), automatically deploy blessings to counteract failed skill checks, and manages the health, inventory and companions of the player's character automatically. Players can roll their own characters, pick from a varied array of pre-generated ones, or tweak one of the existing characters to their satisfaction. Certain quests and game outcomes are only achievable with characters of a certain type.
