Amazon Quest is a match three game. To make a match, use your mouse to swap two artifacts so as to create a straight row of three or more, vertically or horizontally. If you line up four or more in a row, you will create a power artifact. The game consists of two modes.

In Quest mode, you must clear all the gray tiles from the board by making matches over them. If the tiles are tan, you must match them to turn them gray then match them again to clear them. You must do this before the clock bar runs out of time. Power artifacts in this mode, when matched with two or more of the same color, will grant bonus time on the clock bar.

In Arcade mode, the clock bar starts at the halfway mark. Each time you make a match, you add to the clock bar as well as your score. When the clock bar is full, the level is complete. Power artifacts in this mode, when matched with two or more of the same color, will explode, taking out all the artifacts that border them. These will then add to your clock bar and score.
