Apollo: Mission to the Moon Apollo: Mission To The Moon is a shareware game consisting of three parts, two of which are variations on the classic Lunar Lander type of game and the other is an 'Artillery' type of game. Each part, or phase as it's referred to in the game can be played individually in practice mode but the full mission phase of the game is to play through all three phases consecutively.
There are four skill levels, the easiest of which is level four which gives the player four attempts to succeed, level three gives the player three attempts and so on. The object in each phase is to achieve the highest score possible.

Phase one is called 'Lunar Landing' and requires the player to land the lunar module on target and at a safe landing velocity.
Phase two is the 'Docking Phase', it is very similar to phase one but this time the player is docking the lunar module with the orbiting capsule.
Phase three is an 'Artillery' type of game in which the player is presented with the lunar module at the point of re-entry to the Earth's atmosphere and must enter values for both re-entry thrust and angle of descent in order to land at a randomly generated target.
