BALLOONrain In BALLOONrain you control a circular droid which has magnets on the top, bottom, left and right. Balloons of different colours and patterns are visible on screen, and your task is to collect these up so as to be in control of four of the same type, one on each corner.

This is made harder by the need to maneuver the droid and its attached balls around the various obstacles on screen. Fortunately, it is possible to rotate the droid left and right (to change the relative positions of the gaps) and to drop balls into positions which will allow you to slide down tight corridors. Ghosts are an additional complication; some follow you while others have pre-defined movement paths - contact with either is fatal.

The game has a tutorial mode, gradually introducing these concepts. In puzzle mode, each level must be solved within a time limit, and a Puzznic-style level tree allows you take different paths through the game. There is also a Survivor mode in which a constant stream of balls are presented, for you to deal with gradually. [source:mobygames]
