Bars of Black and White is an "escape the room" adventure game where the player becomes someone who has not left their apartment in a very long time, and even if they wanted to, they couldn't, as the key to the front door has gone missing. They must solve puzzles, collect items, and eventually, they will receive a package in the mail containing a single item?a barcode scanner?which must be used to scan objects in the room with barcodes printed on them, revealing clues that will help the player escape the apartment.
