Becky Brogan: The Mystery of Meane Manor Becky is a teenage girl living in Old Haven with a knack for solving puzzles and mysteries. While doing a homework assignment about the city's history, she comes across some information about the creepy Meane Manor, a dilapidated old building rumored to be haunted by ghosts. She decides to investigate the place, searching for clues to its secret past around the town.

Becky Brogan: The Mystery of Meane Manor is a hidden object game designed and coded in BlitzMax by veteran developer Richard "Levelord" Gray. The objective is to find and click on all the items listed on a notebook at the bottom of the screen, on locations filled with assorted objects. Some of the entries are written in red, to indicate that a special object has new information about the plot.

The open locket at the bottom-right shows the silhouette of any selected list entry. It also acts as the hint button, glowing green and beeping loudly when the cursor is near one of the required objects. The player receives extra hints after collecting the three cats hidden on each scene. The plot is developed through comic book screens between each location. [source:mobygames]
