Bloxter Bloxter's basic game concept is similar to Columns. Here you play inside a reactor. Your mission is to combine a certain number of energy cells (how many depends on the level; ranging from two to five) either horizontal or vertical. For this purpose, you will drop a 2x2-energy-block, which can be rotated to all four positions, at the top of your energy cells. When you finally combine a row, the energy cells will react (jumping out of the screen). If there are any same numbered energy cells of a different color adjacent, they will chain-react, even if they aren't horizontal or vertical aligned. Once you got a certain number of reactions, you complete the level and you can proceed to the next one.

The game offers 5 different Zones with 6 Reactors each. Changing from level to level are the number of energy cell needed for an reaction, the number and the type of the bonus items and cells (like a drill to remove cells or a special block which will generate energy cells on its destruction), and the presence or absence of Vanders, these are enemies, which will try to hinder you. An example for these are leeches, which will drain the energy out of a cell, leaving an empty, non-reactive block. [source:mobygames]
