Conspiracy is a PlayStation Home game that takes place against a background of covert espionage and corporate raiding. The public space of the game is modeled in the theme of a giant base built inside an active volcano. Here the player can interact with other players, purchase virtual items, and pick up missions from two of the game's mysterious corporations, Reus and WisperWyre.

Missions in Conspiracy involve raiding another corporation's facility in attempt to get "The Goods" which are represented as a high-tech briefcase. Standing in the player's way are robot guards, security cameras, turrets, and a host of puzzles. The game is part third-person shooter and part puzzle game. Although the action part can get quite challenging on higher level missions, it is by no means a hardcore shooter. The player can also "hack" various elements in the facility to open locked doors, disable turrets or shut off security cameras by playing arcade style mini-games. For example one mini-game is a version of the classic game of memory where the player uncovers two symbols at a time in an attempt to find a certain number of matches before the timer runs out. Other mini-games include a version Crack the Code and Klax.

The game's back story is hidden inside the raids in the form of dossiers and emails you find in safes and intercept from hacked computers. There also appears to be a lot of hidden and coded messages sprinkled throughout the game. A number of the coded messages appear to be leading to the identity of The Secret Chess Council who are represented by the Black King, Black Queen, White King and White Queen (which have not been solved as of this writing.) Jet Set Games, the publisher of Conspiracy, appear to have also hidden clues in some of their other virtual items. For example, they released a stand-up, arcade cabinet called "Shandor" that is modeled on the fortune telling machine from the movie "Big." Shandor dispenses words of wisdom if you manage to roll a coin into his mouth and some of these are coded messages that relate to Conspiracy. [source:mobygames]
