Covert Front: Episode One - All Quiet on Covert Front All Quiet on Covert Front is the first episode in the flash-based Covert Front point-and-click adventure series. The game is set in an alternate history where World War I was already going on in 1904, due to technical revolution that took place in the mid 19th century and the assassination of the French prime minister in 1901. The player controls secret agent Kara, member of the Intelligence Agency General Headquarters. She has to investigate the disappearance of scientists, and Karl von Toten in particular, after the Knowledge for Victory conference in Berlin. Almost 200 scientists disappeared and the Germans suddenly acquire much more powerful weapons. Other field agents investigating the matter have gone missing, so it is up to Kara to sort it out.

The game is entirely controlled by the mouse and there is an inventory near the top of the screen. Gameplay consists of exploring the locations and the manipulation of items. In the first episode Kara mainly investigates Karl von Toten's mansion where he was presumably kidnapped. [source:mobygames]
