CreaVures CreaVures is a platformer based on cooperative gameplay and it is set in an eerie forest. The game consists of fifteen levels divided over five areas. The player gets to control five different CreaVures, mythical creatures that set off to gather essence and restore the light in their dying forest. Throughout the levels both small motes and energy nodes are collected to bring back light, but gathering them is optional while moving through the environments.

The five available CreaVures are introduced gradually and they always work in pairs. Almost every CreaVure has a way to attack other creatures as well as a unique ability to progress through the forest and solve minor environmental puzzles. These abilities need to be used alone or in tandem to overcome challenges. Some of these are based on physics as well, such as jumping on trampoline balls or swinging by a tail.

The game starts with Bitey, a cat-like critter who moves fast, maws at animals to subdue them and can bite into fruit to offer his tail as a makeshift liana for another CreaVure. The next one is Pokey, a hefty porcupine who moves slowly. He can arch his back to send off spikes and also uses them to make a temporary ladder that can be used by another CreaVure. Zappy is a lizard who can travel fast through mud and water, which slows down the others. He is able to set off an electric charge using an orb on his head. It is used to attack animals but also lights up the environment, as long as it isn't used in water. The fourth one is Rolly, a mix of an armadillo and a potato bug. She can press herself into a ball and use her outside armour to roll through animals, even though her speed is quite slow. The fifth and final one is Glidey, a musical bat who moves through the air. He has no means of attack, but can grab other CreaVures to glide across gaps.

There are two large boss challenges and three difficulty levels. [source:mobygames]
