Dangel The Windows version of Dangel is very similar to the PC-98 original; story, dialogues, and most in-game graphics are the same. The anime-style images used as cut scenes in the game utilize higher resolution in Windows version.

Gameplay-wise, the difficulty level is somewhat reduced in Windows version, and enemy encounter rate is lower. The most noticeable change are in battle graphics and perspective: instead of first-person view with still enemy images of the original, the battles now take place on an isometric screen, with playable characters and enemies visible as sprites.
