Game Classification

In Desert Rally, you ride a bike in a single desert track race, while fighting the four other riders with kicks and punches, Road Rash-style. While dodging obstacles, you have to reach the checkpoints in time to continue playing. There are also a few ZOOM bars that grant extra speed and a protective shield that destroys obstacles and knocks opponents off their bikes. The remainig time is shown at the top of the screen and the position of the other riders can be tracked on the left. The fastest times are shown on a high score screen. [source:mobygames]
