Dino Run SE is an updated, downloadable version of the original browser-based game Dino Run.

In this 8-bit-styled, 2D platformer, you play a small dinosaur who must constantly run to the right?over hills, off cliffs, through trees and mountains, and even over other dinosaurs?to escape extinction. Each level begins with a meteorite strike that triggers an advancing "wall of doom" that your raptor must outrun.

The game has 24 speed runs (many of which are new to this version), the basic seven-level challenge mode from the original, and a new multi-level challenge mode called "Planet D." In each of these, the player is awarded points based on their completion time, with bonuses awarded for collecting eggs, eating small animals, gathering bones, and performing special skill challenges along the way. These challenges, along with several unique hidden eggs, also reward the player with "DNA" which can be used to improve their dinosaur's speed, acceleration, jump height, and strength.

There is also a multiplayer component in which players compete with up to three challengers in simultaneous speed runs. [source:mobygames]
