Doctor Who: Blood of the Cybermen is the second in the series of four Doctor Who short 3D adventure games made to accompany the 2010 series of the British TV show. It is an adventure game specifically tailored to the casual audience, so whilst there is a fair amount of puzzle solving and inventory use, it is designed with the target audience of a TV programme in mind, not a gamer. The game is mainly mouse-driven, though there are keyboard alternatives for all actions as you take direct control of either the Doctor or his companion (only one at a time depending on the situation), often you must switch between the two, so they can co-operatively solve a puzzle.

This episode is set at an Arctic research base. The intro shows a panicked researcher fleeing on an snow-mobile having flash-backs of the events which have cause him to flee. His team had made an awful discovery, they've found the remnants of one of the Doctor's most terrifying foes - the Cybermen. The Amy and the Doctor must work together to discover some way of stopping the researcher turning into Cybermen, and stop the Cybermen using the research station as a base to launch an attack upon the Earth! Along the way they'll encounter a new half-breed of Cyberman, along with the re-introduction of Cybermats to the new series. [source:mobygames]
