Double Dragon EX is the second licensed mobile Double Dragon game and this version is a remix of previous releases on various platforms. Most of the content and sequences are taken from Double Dragon and Double Dragon II: The Revenge, but there are also elements from the GBA version and Super Double Dragon.

Playing as Billy or Jimmy Lee from the Double Dragon team, the player has to rid New York City from the Black Shadow Warriors and free Marian, Billy's fiancee, who has been taken captive. The controls consist of keys to move around, a punch, kick, jump, elbow, head butt, guard and squat, two grasping attacks (throw and knee), two seated attacks and various jumping attacks. Certain actions can be linked in two combos. There are also weapons to be picked up, such as knives and bats, and barrels can be grabbed and thrown at incoming enemies.

There are three time-limited levels, with sprites and backdrops taken from other games in the series, with a boss at the end, and also a few minor jumping sequences. The game's music features familiar Double Dragon tunes, there are 3 difficulty levels and also an option to alter the game's speed. [source:mobygames]
