Dunkey Munkey The Dragon and Tandy never released an official port of Donkey Kong, but a whole lot of clones.

Conversely to most clones, the first level is the "pop rivets" screen of the original. Mario must run across all rivets in a scaffolding in order to loosen the structure so that it eventually falls down, taking the "Munkey" with itself. The structure is filled with wandering flames which must be avoided. A bonus item in the shape of a fire extinguisher can be used to put out the flames, but it only works for a short while and disables jumps and ladder climbing.

The second screen is a combination of two original screens, namely the "barrels" and "lifts" screens, where Dunkey throws barrels down the platforms and Mario must take the lift to reach the kidnapped girl. This screen is reached only after clearing the first screen twice.

The Dragon version runs in four-colour mode, whereas the CoCo version uses the NTSC artifact mode for a colour set that better matches that of the original. [source:mobygames]
