Each stage in Eat Them! has a primary objective, such as destroying specific buildings, causing a specific amount of damage, or completing a checkpoint race. Achieving high scores on a stage unlocks new parts to build monsters out of. A monster's attacks are determined by its attached arms and back weapon, and attacking drains the same energy that functions as the monster's health.
