Em@il Games: Soccer is a play-by-email game that lets you challenge a friend to a game of soccer. The game of soccer is somewhat simplified. All defensive actions are done automatically, there's no injuries, substitutions, or player names. You can however choose formations, shirt designs and a team name. Each team member has four stats: pace, defence, offence and stamina. In your turn you can choose from the following options: pass, dribble or shoot at goal. This is all done through simple mouse clicks, if you click on another player it will pass the ball, on the field it will dribble there and clicking on the goal will present an interface of where you want to place the ball. With each action the game determines if you stay in control of the ball through evaluation of the stats from the current player and nearby opponents. As long as you don't lose the ball it stays your turn, but once you lose it the game is mailed to the other player and he takes his turn. [source:mobygames]
