Escape from Frankenstein's Castle While traveling through Vienna in her boyfriend's bike, Hannah suffers a terrible road accident and wakes up in a strange bedroom of a mysterious castle. She soon meets the Dorian the butler, and starts to explore the bizarre surroundings, uncovering horrors related to the classic story of Frankenstein.

Escape from Frankenstein's Castle is a standard, point-and-click adventure game loosely based on the book by Mary Shelley, and played in first-person view with simple puzzles aimed at the casual market. As Hannah, the player has to collect all the objects laying around the many rooms of the castle, and use them to solve all sorts of puzzles found on several locations throughout the sinister place. The items are stored inside the inventory at the bottom, framed by the task list at the left and the ghost of Isabella at the right. Isabella is a trapped soul that communicates with Hannah and effectually acts as the hint button, giving pointers about what has to be done when activated. The objects have to dragged and dropped from the inventory to a logical place on the scenery to perform an action or complete a task.

Some rooms have one of Isabella's memories, a separate screen that can be summoned to show clues about one of the puzzles. In the starting bedroom, her memories show the silhouettes of a series of objects that can be optionally collected as a bonus goal. Locks and other mechanisms appear inside small interactive windows, where they have to be manipulated directly to be solved. Some puzzles take place on a separate screen, and can be optionally skipped. [source:mobygames]
