Another in a series of games released in conjunction with the 20th Anniversary of the release of the movie E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial, this one takes the form of a board game. Through rolling virtual dice, a player moves either Elliot or Gertie around one of three boards (moving from room to room or in the backyard) and lands on various locations like bonuses or traps and ones which can trigger 15 different mini-games. These can involve play that challenges dexterity, logic, and memory.

One mini-game involves covering E.T. with toys in the closet so the kids' Mom won't see him. Another has you pushing planets into the correct slots of an astral chart. Others have you making a Halloween costume, or matching candy. As activities are completed, you can collect pieces that E.T. needs to communicate with his home planet. Two people can also play co-operatively as Elliot and Gertie and solve challenges together. [source:mobygames]
