Flying Brothers borrows the concept of the freeware game The Amazing Flying Brothers (later also revisited as the multiplayer game Men on the Flying Trapeze) where players control a single trapeze artist as he performs stunts in a circus environment. The little man swings back and forth from a trapeze automatically. By tapping the right side of the screen, the movement can be accelerated. At the right moment, an icon on the left side of the screen can be tapped to have the artist release the trapeze and launch him into the air, performing stunts. To complete a stunt, the same or another trapeze needs to be caught, or he falls down and the game is over.

Compared to the original game it took the gameplay elements from, there are more trapezes in a single environment and they are at different heights. That way players can climb the trapezes to reach the roof of a room. There are two different characters to choose from, different colour schemes, and mini-game game modes such as Fire Contest, Lethal Mode, and Diving Competition. [source:mobygames]
