The children of the tortoise and the hare have decided to set aside their traditional family differences and go off on a grand adventure together. But the land has grown more filled with threats since Aesop's day -- our unlikely duo must cooperate intimately in order to make progress. The hare invites the tortoise up onto his shoulders, transporting the two left or right following the mouse cursor, while the tortoise, armed with a pea-shooter (aimed with vertical mouse movements and shot by clicking), knocks down delicious fruit from overhanging trees and neutralises unkindly bombardier birds, causing them to deliver their payload prematurely -- ideally onto snakes slithering underfoot.
