The Guild 2: Renaissance The Guild 2: Renaissance is the fourth installment in The Guild 2 series and similar to its direct sequel The Guild 2: Venice the game is also a stand alone version.

The game is set near the end of 14th century Europe. Gameplay is still similar to previous installments, providing a few new scenario maps, bug fixes, a few new action choices, and a new feature that optionally allows the player to change the former default four year per turn to one year per turn. The political ladder has introduced increased difficulty through added requirements when applying for new positions at the city hall, which also includes imperial fame and war events. Unlike its predecessor however, no tutorial scenario exists.

The original professions still remain intact for selection. The new additional professions are as the following:Craftsman class: Innkeeper, Stonemason;Patron class: Miller. Fruit farmer;Rogue class: Mercenary, Juggler;Scholar class: Banker, Gravedigger. Scenarios:
