Interstellar Trader 2 is the sequel to the under-the-radar hit game of galactic trading. Following in the tradition of games like Gazillionaire, the goal of Interstellar Trader 2 is to trade your way to big bucks.

Of course, there are all sorts of ways you can do this. Most obviously, you can travel from planet to planet, buying low and selling high as you go. Passengers will also be waiting at each planet for you to take to their next destination. You can earn some interest on the money you place in the bank, but higher potential returns will tempt you to get into the stock market, or just invest in one of two major galactic mutual funds. If you are lucky, the planetary prime ministers will even grant you gifts to help your business along.

Trading is not without its dangers and other costs, though. You?ll need to get regular repairs on your spacecraft, purchase various cargo and weapons upgrades, buy escort ships for protection from pirates, and pay ?protection? money to keep pirates, and the local authorities, off your back. Naturally, you?ll also need to be prepared for a variety of random events.

Your galaxy always consists of ten planets, which are randomly generated each time you start a new game. With new planets and different trade goods every time, you?ll have infinite opportunities to become the king of interstellar traders. [source:mobygames]
