Invasion Small tribes which flourished six thousand years ago farmed, traded, invaded and fought their way to become the countries of today. Take control of such a tribe and build up their civilization into what it may be today in Invasion, a turn based strategy game. Lead your people and make decisions in regards to agriculture, scientific progress, religion, settlements, and of course war as you try to evolve them over thousands of years.

In Invasion you will collect taxes and trade goods to earn gold. The gold you collect will help you upgrade your civilization by either; building new buildings to further progress whichever field you desire, purchasing materials from neighboring tribes, furthering scientific progress, funding military projects or many other subjects which will develop your civilization in differing ways. As your power grows you can choose in which way to advance either through brains or brawn. The decisions you make in your dealings with your people and neighbors will decide how the other civilizations you deal with treat you. A careful balance must be maintained and different kinds or respect must be earned in the eyes of your competitors. The bloodbath you leave in your wake will gain just as much attention from your neighbors as pacifism. While some tremble at the name of your people others can look down upon you and challenge you for the same exact reason.

Controlling Invasion is done via keyboard and mouse. The game-play, based around real-world cities and civilizations, is turn-based so you will make all your decisions in peace while other civilizations do the same. Terrain that you're playing on will make a difference in regards to what your people can harvest, and how they can move. Careful attention must also be paid to your competitors as the terrain they're on will make the same differences for them. In each turn you can select a city at which point a menu for the city opens up. From here you can choose what buildings to build, see the needs of your cities and control your citizens jobs. Also in the turn you can move your army units around the map, explore the lands, attack enemy units and defend your towns.

Once your civilization reaches the required points your game will end. Of course if your civilization is wiped off the map your game will also come to an end. A player may choose the type of land they play on at the beginning of the game. Types of land range in size as well as terrain. From small mountainous islands to humongous deserted plains.
