The Iron Horse is a game where the player needs to build a long train by connecting train cars. Shown from a side view, a locomotive moves along a track at a steady speed. A second track parallel to it holds stationary cars. When the locomotive passes them the player has to tap the cars at the right moment to make them connect to the locomotive. The top of the screen shows the points, based on perfects, misses, bonus points and a total score. With each successful connection the train becomes longer and the speed of the locomotive is increased. When a connection is missed several times, the game is over, but free turns can be acquired by stringing together four perfects. The game is split up in levels with different types of trains throughout history and a background setting to go along with it. It keeps track of scores and these can also be posted online through OpenFeint. When not a single car is missed, a bonus round becomes available. That round goes on forever, but the player has to decide to end it and cash in, or risk going on and losing everything. [source:mobygames]
