Kung Fu II Kung Fu II is an unofficial sequel to the 1985 NES game Kung-Fu. It was originally created for the 2008 Retro Remakes Competition where it took first prize.

Players guide Kung Fu Master Thomas through different side-scrolling levels, searching for his girlfriend Sylvia who was kidnapped by Kung Fu Master Mr. X. Players can perform a number of moves directly from the first game, such as high and low kicks and punches, as long with moves while in the air. Enemies approach from both sides of the screen and Thomas needs to be guided to the end of the level quickly; because of the time limit and the endless amount of opponents. Enemies that come too close hurt Thomas or grab him, draining health, until they are shaken off. The end of each level contains a boss.

After a few levels, the ghost of a Kung Fu Master helps Thomas unlock some new moves, largely lifted from Ryu/Ken's special moves in Street Fighter II. These are much more powerful than the regular ones, but can only used a number of times as they drain an energy bar. The game contains nine stages, unlockable characters and online high scores.
