This game isn't the usual soccer sim where one team plays against another team, here you will control the Argentinian legend Diego Armando Maradona and will have to beat an entire soccer team all alone. It features a series of 18 different button combinations which will need to be either followed on screen in the guided mode, or memorized for later playing in the free mode, sending Diego swerving deftly between defenders until scoring a goal. Maradona is displayed from behind, giving the impression of a camera following him across the pitch as he pulls off various complex dribbling tricks to fend off the rivals, breaking into a Matrix-esque slow-mo mode to show some of the fancier manoeuvres set over 20 levels of difficulty.
