Game Classification

Monimo Pop makes combined use of the touch screen and accelerometer for the basic game mechanic. Monimos are small creatures floating up the screen. The player pops the Monimo's bubble and attempts to catch it in a basket at the bottom of the screen. The basket can be positioned to catch the falling Monimos by tilting the device left or right.

Each Monimo is clearly marked with a score; each one caught in the basket adds that to the player's overall score. There are also prizes floating up that can be caught in the basket. Some are helpful, such as a clock that extends the time the player has to rack up points. Some are not helpful, such as the ice cube the freezes the basket and slows down its movement.
