Game Classification

The seventh game in the PlayMan Sports series turns to Europe's favourite: football. Played from a top-down perspective or a full 3D view if you have an advanced phone, you can choose from 34 countries to compete in various events. The names have not been licensed but each country has been assigned a skill level true to their actual capabilities. In the main career mode, you control team Playman and compete in 33 events over the world, divided over three stages, to improve your skills. After completing a challenge, you are awarded skill points that can be assigned to speed, attack or defense. Events include full tournaments, friendlies, sudden death situations and penalty shoot-outs. Other game modes offer warm-up, arcade games and quick matches.

Each team consists of 8 players and you can set the formation before the match. Moves include tackling, passing and shooting, along with a run boost, crosses and super shots with large effect that need to be powered up. All players run automatically, you only need to move them into the right direction. The goalie cannot be controlled. There are different pitches, weather types and you control the length of the game and the fouls. Gameplay time and records are stored in a high score screen. [source:mobygames]
