Pool Ninja is a different take on the pool game genre. It consists of 60 challenges split into three difficulties. The game is all about speed. The goal is simply to clear the table of all the red balls as quickly as possible. There is no other way to become a real pool ninja. The game uses the same 3D engine as Distinctive's previous pool game Anytime Pool and takes place in a traditional Japanese environment. The game is more of a puzzle game than a traditional pool game. In addition to the red balls, some levels have yellow balls that act as obstacles. The player is not allowed to pot these but they can be used to pot the red ones. The game is played with touch screen controls that allow the player to aim, set the spin, tweak the power and finally shoot the ball. A dotted line helps with the aim.

When completing a level the player is awarded with either a bronze, silver or gold star. This is based on the completion time in relation to other players on the online leaderboards. There are also achievements awards. [source:mobygames]
