Pride Of Nations: The Franco-Prussian War 1870 is a scenario DLC for Pride of Nations. It places the player as a commander of a nation in the Franco-Prussian war, the longest and most bloody war in Europe in the 19th century. Players take control of Napoleon III's forces and try to save imperial France or take the role of the iron chancellor Otto von Bismarck. Like the main game, this is a turn based campaign. However the scope is a lot shorter lasting only the length of the war. It starts in 1870 and objectives are either to capture Paris before the end of 1871 or defend it until that same date.
