Game Classification

Project Aftermath is a RTS game in a futuristic setting. The player controls four heroes who take on the nefarious New Order. The story is detailed in graphic novel style with voice acting. The game features a campaign with 10 single player missions.

Each hero controls a squad of units and has different abilities and RPG-like parameters. There are three different types of damage which are made apparent by their color: red is physical damage, green is biological damage and blue is energy damage. The armor of units is painted in the same colors depending on which damage type it resists. Units can change weapons on the fly to change damage type.

There is no resource gathering or base building in this game. The New Order has respawn zones on the map which need to be captured. Additional mission goals including freeing prisoners, exploring parts of the map and destroying enemy units. [source:mobygames]
