Game Classification

In Puzzle Blast, your job is to remove all of the colored spheres in the playfield before either the time is running out or the ring container is running full.

When you start a level, you will see a stone with a figure inside it (an apple, a butterfly, etc.) and lots of colored spheres, which are inside the figure, and only there. Your task is to completely remove all of them.

For this purpose, you have magic rings of various forms (from a single ring over chains to corners) available. Simple select one of the rings and select a same colored group of spheres, and those spheres will vanish and spheres from above will fall down, filling the gap.

The longer you take in a level, the more rings appear in the ring container, which must either be used or destroyed (assuming you have enough water jars remaining). Once the container is full and new rings dropping in, it's Game Over.

But there are also different bombs available to help you. A vertical bomb (which destroys all spheres which are in the same vertical row), a horizontal bomb (similar to the vertical, just horizontal), and a cluster bomb (destroys, besides the sphere you select, all direct adjacent spheres).

Once all spheres are gone, you proceed with the next of the 100 total levels of the game. [source:mobygames]
