Reis rond de wereld in 80 dagen Reis rond de wereld in 80 dagen is a hidden object game inspired by the Jules Verne book Around The World in 80 Days. In the game, the player accompanies Phileas Fogg and finds hidden objects in dozens of locations around the world. The story is told via short sentences in between screens, these also contain the next quest for the player to solve.

The approach to finding objects is, mostly, slightly different from the usual list of random unrelated objects. Instead, the player is asked to find '20 objects that have something to do with the sea' or '15 tools' without further specification. A few screens do have a list of random objects. There is a time limit for each screen. Clicking multiple 'wrong' objects in a short time leads to a time penalty. If the player does not find all objects within the time given, the challenge is lost and the player is returned to the main menu for a new attempt (starting at the level they just lost). In some locations, drawers can be opened and objects can be moved to search in or behind them. Each screen contains a hidden magnifying glass that can be used to ask for a clue to the location of an object. A maximum of six magnifying glasses can be stored for later use.

There are a few mini-games that require the player to move around boxes in a maze or to flip a switch to prevent trains to collide. These can be replayed from the main menu. [source:mobygames]
