Restaurant Rush Restaurant Rush is the sequel to Burger Rush, and as its predecessor is a combination of tile matching and management games of the casual games genre.

The main character is a struggling cook, trying to gain the respect of several international chefs. Each level is one of the restaurants, where the main objective is to raise a set amount of money within a time limit. The central part of the screen is dedicated to the tile matching grid, where each tile is an ingredient of the recipes. In the left side, the customers arrive and place orders that appear as tabs at the right side. Each of the tabs show the amount of ingredients that must be matched (three or more of the same type) to complete the recipe. Once the dish is ready, it appears on the tab and the player has to click on it to be automatically served to the customer. Each customer has a patience meter that starts to slowly diminish after placing the order, decreasing the amount of money that the restaurant is going to receive as payment. After receiving the food, the customers left the money over the balcony, and the player must collect it to make a new customer appear.

There is a limited number of desert plates below the grid that can be used to increase the patience meter of the customers. Two special machines sit under the tabs and slowly fill with each match. They produce ice tea and the soup that can be added to a dish or recipe to increase its value. The jukebox makes the customers more patient, if it's playing their favourite tune.

Several bonus items appear on the grid with the ingredients. The stove shows up after 20 matches, and burns a whole row of ingredients when clicked. The milkshake appears after 50 matches, and increases by 50% the patience meter of the most angry customer. The cash register shows up after a match of 5 tiles is made, and it makes two tokens appear on the grid.

A number of tokens is received after a level is complete, and they can also be collected on the grid. They are used to upgrade certain things as the ingredients (making the dishes more valuable) and machines, and are used to buy new items, like new recipes, deserts and music tracks for the jukebox.
