Rhythm Zone Rhythm Zone is a music game where the player can import his own music for use in the game. The game is similar to other music games such as Guitar Hero and the player has to hit notes by pressing the right key at the right time. Some notes are sustained and to successfully play these the player needs to hold it down for its entire length. There are also chords that are played by holding down two notes at the same time. At times special focus notes appear on the screen and by playing these successfully the player gains focus power which can be deployed once 25 percent of the focus gauge has been filled. This will grant the player a 2x multiplier. In addition to this the player has a score multiplier which increases with one for every ten successful notes hit.

The game has two different game modes: quickplay and play my music. In quickplay mode the player is assigned a random song and gets to jump straight into the game. In this mode scores are not recorded and no experience is gained. In the play my music mode the player can choose to play any song he has on his computer and his scores are tracked to the highscore leaderboards. The game also features a challenge functionality where players can compete against each other on specific songs. [source:mobygames]
