Do you remember the 1980's? How everything was in neon colors? How fresh and new were those music videos? Don Johnson, driving around Miami, arresting bad guys? One thing about the 80's that put it above all the other decades, was the music, and that sweet music is aplenty in this game. Welcome to SingStar '80's, where the player can re-live that decade with a little help of this game and a microphone. The main focus of the game is singing those songs as well as one can. The game gives points which are distributed by the purity of singing, as in, how well the player manages to stay on tune. It doesn't matter if the player changes octaves in the middle of the song, or what words the player is singing (the game doesn't have a word recognition), and so singing is rated instead by how well the player manage to hit the correct note at the correct time.
