Skispringen 2000 is a simulation of the sport ski jumping which, in comparison to the RTL Ski series that followed it, lacks an official license. The handling is simple: a mouse click is used to time the take-off and landing; for correction and shifting to the v-stile the player has to make slight movements with his mouse.
The game features four ski-jump locations (Garnisch, Oberstdorf, Innsbruck and Hakuba) and eight athletes. It is only possible to play separate events at one location, there are no campaigns or world rankings.
