Smart Splitter is a puzzle game that, at first glance, looks much like a Breakout clone. However, while the goal of each stage is to break all the blocks, the method to do so is quite different. The player controls a cannon which only holds a set number of balls. This cannon can be moved along the left edge of the screen and aimed freely. Different blocks in the puzzle will release additional balls in different directions depending on the color -- a blue block might release balls up and down, while a red one left and right -- and so the player's job is to figure out which blocks to shoot in order to clear the board in as few shots as possible.
