Tap Tap Revenge: NIN Edition uses the game mechanics and the engine of Tap Tap Revenge to offer a skinned version of the game based around the rock band Nine Inch Nails with thirteen tracks from their albums The Slip and Ghosts I-IV. The basic premise of tapping and shaking the screen to match the music's rhythm has remained, but with slight modifications to the gameplay. It is now easier to reach the Revenge mode. New difficulty levels need to be unlocked and the general themes have been adapted to the band. The multiplayer function for two players using the device simultaneously is also available.
