In Taxi3: Extreme Rush, multiplayer and single play are combined to one cooperation mode, and this means you can play the entire story mode with up to three friends. Please note that the name "Taxi" has nothing to do with the actual gameplay, only with the story. (the player's cab has been stolen and you have to get it back by performing underground races). This game is a real racing game and no taxi game.

The game differs from other racing games since there are three game modes you can fall back to: - Drag racing (manual transmission)- Street racing (causing loads of damage)- City racing (finding your way in the city)With these 3 default modes (up to five random races for every race mode) you can collect more respect and money to unlock new contacts (which are mainly Team6 developers) and to unlock new, special races. There are 5 contacts and a wide variation of races in this racing game. The more races you unlock, the more dangerous races become. Some races include police chases (the kind of police that first shoots, then asks) and helicopter chases. [source:mobygames]
