This freeware remake of the action-adventure game from 1985 updates the graphics and sounds while maintaining the same gameplay of the original. As before, the player controls Wally Week through the African jungle, where he must gather the necessary items to rescue his wife and son. As in Dizzy and other eighties adventure-platform titles, the main character has to wander through several screens and collect objects to solve puzzles, while avoiding dangerous enemies and hazardous environments. Dialog messages scroll at the bottom of the screen, giving clues about the objectives and developing the plot. There are two slots in the inventory at the bottom interface, and Wally has to use the appropriate tools to perform an action or complete a task. [source:mobygames]
