An enhanced version of the original Tumble Bees, the Deluxe version has additional game modes, no ads, and can be played offline.

In Tumble Bees, letters fall into a hexagonal field, and the player forms words by choosing contiguous letters. Once a word is formed, it disappears from the field. Powerups include colored letters, which if included in a word increases the tokens earned, and stars, which can stand in for any letter. Three modes are included.

The Classic mode is from the web game. In it, letters will fall into the field every few seconds. Create words to keep the field clear, and add honey to a drop. When the drop is large enough, it falls, and completes the level. There is a bonus word, which if matched, earns bonus tokens, and if three words of the given length are created, many letters will be destroyed. After each level, a bonus round occurs, where the letters fall faster. The bonus round is completed once three words of five letters are formed.

The Strategy mode starts with the field full of letters, and challenges the player to create the largest words they can. There is a letter quota to reach, with a maximum amount of words, but there is no time limit.

The Challenge mode pits the player against an AI opponent. Create words to drop honey on the opponent, and try to fill up his hive before yours fills up. Extra powerups in this mode include rocks, (which cannot be used for anything) bombs, (which destroy nearby letters), and pink tiles (which help drop honey on the opponent). There are 11 rounds in all, with later rounds featuring harder AIs.

Tokens earned in this game can be sent to a Pogo account, and used for entering drawings. [source:mobygames]
