The Tuttles Madcap Misadventures When the Tuttles decide to take a family vacation to "The Alamo" they have no idea the kind of misadventures they will get into. When they ride aboard their flying mini-van they will have to avoid birds, helicopters, and even lighthouses. Of course their mini-van seems to have a crash happy attitude and frequently they will have to take on foot as each member of the family will have to work together to pass strange lands. Their adventures will take them across the desert, to jungles, up the sides of mountains and even underwater as they try and make their way to their destination.

The Tuttles Madcap Misadventures is at times a platform game and at times a side scrolling flying game. In certain parts of the game you will take control of the mini-van and fly across gradually changing settings while avoiding the aforementioned obstacles. When the game isn't in flying mode you will take control of one member of the Tuttle clan and explore lush settings trying to collect various objects to pass each level. There are forty levels in total and there are more unlocked when the game is finished. The platform levels are fairly typical of the genre, you jump around and avoid enemies.

You can attack the enemies by stomping on most of them or hitting them with your attack. Each member of the family has a different attack. The father Barry swings his empty gas canister while the mom Barbara swings her purse. The kids will have their own levels to explore as well and their attacks are a thrown cell phone for the daughter Jess and a well placed kick for the son Zach. The enemies will vary level by level depending on the situation and will range from simple lizards walking around to jumping spiders, to spear throwing natives, to breaching sharks. The underwater levels play much like the regular platform levels but with an extended jump due to the ability of swimming a small distance. In fact the underwater levels seem to borrow heavily in game play and visual design from another Divo Games release Kenny's Adventure. On top of the required items to collect to pass each level there are also bonus gems and objects to collect but only for points. [source:mobygames]
